About

Making Portfolios Less Intimidating is an interactive workshop that deconstructs the idea of a portfolio, helps visual artists find their individual story and shows where their work could deliver against a brand's brief. It is led by Eric Aydin-Barberini, a visual artist and commercial image maker with nearly a decade of experience whose clients include Spotify, Ray-Ban, Red Bull and LEGO. The session covers a holistic approach to portfolio building, pitching with a clear target, and actions towards your dream opportunity, and is for visual artists aged 18-30 from Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest. Attendees should bring a laptop or iPad with something to work in, a selection of their best work and a rough idea of the direction they would like to take.
