Free improvisation with Mark Browne and Paul Margree.
About
An afternoon of live music at Hundred Years Gallery in East London, with doors opening half an hour before the performance. It brings together four London-based improvisers: sound artist Paul Margree, who blends everyday objects with feedback systems; Helena Paul, a poet and artist long involved in theatrical and musical improvisation; Mark Browne, a saxophonist of forty years who now adds gongs and cymbals, moving between free improvisation, free jazz and electronic textures; and Alec McGrory, known as SquidCore. Expect exploratory, experimental music at the boundary of improvisation and sound art.
