MASTER PIECES Eleven Modern Japanese Ceramicists
Paris
About
MASTER PIECES Eleven Modern Japanese Ceramicists is an exhibition of sixteen works by eleven of the most important figures in Japanese ceramics of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. It spans a hundred years of practice, showing works seldom seen outside Japan. Each artist developed a distinctive language through clay, drawing on centuries of Japanese ceramic tradition while pushing the medium towards something deeply personal. The exhibition takes place at Carpenters, Paris, at 54 Rue De La Verrerie, 75004 Paris.
