About
Mezzo's Corner is a jam session night held at Grow in Hackney Wick. It was started in 2020 by Mezzo, a bedroom metalhead who began with an amp, a guitar and a mic around a picnic bench, to keep spaces alive for young voices in East London. After a break, it returns for a three-month residency: a house band kicks things off, then musicians and vocalists take the floor in a regular rotation, with drums, guitar, bass, tenor sax, trumpet and keys available. Come to play, sing, listen or just be part of it; the event is 18+.
