Mini Morris: toddlers craft paper stained-glass windows.
About
Mini Morris: Wonderful Windows is a drop-in crafting workshop for toddlers aged two to five at the William Morris Gallery. Led by artist educator Lesley Palmer of Scribble & Smudge, it invites children to explore William Morris's stained glass designs on display and then make their own stained glass-style window from paper and vibrant cellophane, experimenting with colour, shape and pattern. Each session also includes singing, a snack to take away, and aprons for what can be a messy activity, with one adult required per two children. The sessions are free, with donations welcomed, and children take their artwork home to hang in a window and catch the winter light.
