New Stuff: November is a monthly night of rehearsed readings of new theatre writing. It is produced and presented by The Cockpit as part of its Theatre Maker programme. This edition features 'VINZ & VINCÉ' by Federico Balla and Louis Lambeaux, about two friends sharing a room in London, and 'HELD' by Lei, a psychological thriller in which Chinese playwright Leanne is detained and ordered to write under surveillance, raising questions of state power, artistic freedom and who controls the narrative. Afterwards, everyone is welcome to continue conversations in the bar downstairs.
