About

A call for volunteers to help run the Winter Shelter, a Night Shelter hosted at St Mary's church halls. St Mary at Finchley seeks people to host 15-17 selected guests overnight from Sunday evening to Monday morning on several winter dates, with roles including team leaders, cooking, serving, sleeping over to provide security, breakfast, cleaning and transporting bedding. Training is provided by Homeless Action in Barnet on Zoom, and those unable to volunteer can donate money or an evening meal instead.
