This is a walking tour through London at nightfall. It is run by New London Architecture and led by lighting designer and night time strategist Satu Streatfield. Starting at civil twilight by the Strand, the walk traces the history of light and nightlife along the north bank, following the changing twilight stages through the back streets to the river. It explores how lighting has evolved from candlelight and gaslight to today's digital technologies, how artificial light has reshaped the urban night, and what lessons could shape future nights in London.
