About

One Day is a musical at the Garrick Theatre, adapted from David Nicholls's best-selling novel about Em and Dex, who meet on the night of their graduation and whose lives intertwine on the same day every year through joy, heartbreak and second chances. It is written by David Greig with music and lyrics by Abner and Amanda Ramirez of the US band Johnnyswim, directed by Max Webster, and stars Jamie Muscato and Sharon Rose as the star-crossed lovers Dex and Em. The story of love and loss has sold over five million copies worldwide and was previously made into a 2011 film and a 2024 television series. The show runs 2 hours and 40 minutes including one interval and is suitable for ages 12 and over.
