Open Spaces 2026 is a global art trail by the Visual Arts Association that brings art into everyday spaces, shown at St Mildred's Church as a chosen venue. Local artist Marie Alice Phillips selected the church and shows there 'The Space Between', a collection of abstract paintings exploring emotional resilience, adaptation and recovery. Marie has been part of the St Mildred's wider community for over 16 years, and 20% of all artwork sales will be donated to the church. Visitors can discover the collection and enjoy art in a welcoming community setting.
