A free training session where you can learn to host Talkaoke, a live, television-style talk show where participants generate the subjects and the host keeps everybody engaged. It is run by The People Speak, an East London art collective, in collaboration with Our Adoption Project, an adoptee-led arts exhibition exploring adoption. The training covers skills like asking better questions, holding space for opposing views and truly listening, with no experience required. Trainee hosts may also stay for snacks and an optional live Talkaoke in the evening.
