Paint with Darren
The Soho Poly, 16 Riding House Street, W1W 7DT London
About
Paint with Darren is a painting workshop at the Soho Poly, open to people of all artistic abilities in a friendly space with tea and biscuits. It is led by Darren Hayman, formerly lead singer and guitarist with the band Hefner and a prolific solo artist, who also paints and draws. This first session, Painted Postcards, invites you to bring photographs of places that matter to you and paint them onto real postcards of high-quality watercolour paper. The class is about memory and place, and attendees are encouraged to post their finished cards, with stamps supplied and a walk to the postbox together, taking their painting home if they wish.
