About
A piano recital at Wigmore Hall with music by Mozart, Schubert and Chopin. Pianist Paul Lewis resumes his Mozart Plus series with a programme drawing connecting lines between Mozart, Carl Maria von Weber and Chopin, including Weber's and Chopin's links to Mozart as a 'second Mozart' and Chopin's admiration of the composer's 'eternal principles'. The concert lasts approximately two hours including an interval, and the programme has changed slightly to now include Mozart's Piano Sonatas in B flat K570 and K333, Schubert's 3 Klavierstücke D946, and Chopin's Polonaise in C sharp minor Op. 26 No. 1 and Nocturnes Op. 32.
