About

A physics colloquium titled "How many new particles remain to be discovered?", open to all. It is given by Professor Mikhail Shaposhnikov of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), hosted by Imperial College London's Department of Physics. He asks whether widely separated mass scales and the Standard Model's shortcomings point to many new particles or an economical extension of known physics. The lecture runs 16:00-17:00, followed by refreshments in the Level 8 Common Room of the Blackett Building.
