About

The Problem of Other Minds is a panel discussion at the Sheikh Zayed Theatre in the Cheng Kin Ku Building in London. It is the Royal Institute of Philosophy's 2026 Annual Symposium, with panellists Professor Anil Gomes, Professor Thomas Stern and Professor Vasu Reddy, chaired by broadcaster Ritula Shah. The speakers ask whether the minds of others are forever closed to us, whether there is a gap between behaviour and the states of mind it evidences, and how, if at all, we can know what is on someone else's mind.
