Pop-Up Ceilidh Balham is a ceilidh night of live music and partner dancing held at The Bedford pub. It is run by Fiddle Paradiddle, called London's wildest ceilidh band, whose house band plays classic and adventurous ceilidh dances with an energetic nu-folk sound. An expert caller walks everyone through all the steps, so both seasoned dancers and complete beginners can join in. Doors open at 7pm for drinks and food in the ballroom, with dancing from around 7:30pm until the last dance at about 10pm.
