About

Bal Étoile is a balfolk evening of live music and social dance at the Jamboree venue near King's Cross. It is run by London Balfolk, who hold this regular event twice a month. Balfolk is a tradition of music and dance from across Northern Europe, especially France and Scandinavia, and it is welcoming and easy for beginners to pick up. A session starts the night, followed by a short dance class, then a mixture of recorded music and more playing, with musicians invited to bring instruments; entry is free.
