About
An evening lecture on how to avoid pitfalls when bringing a case before the European Court of Human Rights, aimed at both newcomers and experienced practitioners. It is facilitated by Sir Tim Eicke KC, former UK judge on the Court, and features Rachael Kondak, a lawyer at the Court since 2009, on making valid applications and meeting admissibility criteria, and Parosha Chandran, a barrister at One Pump Court and Professor of Practice in Modern Slavery Law at King's College London, on identifying and framing Convention issues and navigating complex Strasbourg litigation. The talk is followed by a drinks reception, and the dress code is smart casual.
