About

An evening of film, conversation and conservation centered on the short film 'The Land She Would Not Leave'. Firehouse Media presents the film by the Connect Foundation + Blackbean Productions, which chronicles the work of Kenyan conservationist Raabia Hawa and the Ulinzi Africa Foundation to protect the Tana Delta, one of East Africa's most ecologically significant landscapes. Raabia Hawa arrives in London to receive one of the conservation world's highest honors, and the evening features a 25-minute screening followed by a conversation and Q&A with her. Hosted by Jag Gill, Kelly King, and Jamie Daves, it opens with pre-event socialising and a cash bar, and attendance is open to Conduit members.
