A Remembrance Sunday commemoration held at the War Memorial in Abney Park Cemetery. It is run by the Abney Park Trust and combines traditional ceremony elements with an address from a local Councillor, the laying of wreaths, music from Hackney Songworks and the Morris Folk Choir, and the Last Post played by Steve Pretty. The cemetery holds many Commonwealth War Graves, and the gathering remembers those who lost their lives in conflicts across the world. Attendance is free and unticketed, and dogs are asked to be on lead.
