Rhythm Around The World: Steelpan and African Drumming Workshop

Rhythm Around The World: Steelpan and African Drumming Workshop is a hands-on music workshop for children aged 5 and over, held indoors at Erith Library. It is run by Bexley Libraries and led by Pan Man Tony, celebrating the sounds of the Caribbean and Africa. Children can play steelpans, djembes and other percussion instruments, copying rhythms, joining call-and-response activities and making music together. Tickets are free but limited and booking is required; only the child needs a ticket and a parent or guardian must stay.
