Roman Remedy Making

Roman Remedy Making is a hands-on family activity about Roman medicine, where you create your own herbal remedy to take home. It is run at The Roman Baths and explores the plants and ingredients Romans believed could cure ailments, along with ancient healing traditions and how such herbs are still used today. Using real herbs, participants blend a remedy based on traditional medicinal uses, in the Panorama Room at The Roman Baths. It is ideal for families with children aged 5-12, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
