Rozie Kelly and Marcia Hutchinson in conversation with Imani Thompson

An evening of conversation with two Women's Prize shortlisted authors, Rozie Kelly and Marcia Hutchinson, hosted by writer Imani Thompson. Rozie Kelly, a West Yorkshire novelist who won the 2024 NorthBound Book Award, reads from her debut Kingfisher, a novel of queer desire, ambition and obsession following a creative writing academic fixated on a lauded author colleague. Marcia Hutchinson, a former lawyer and MBE recipient, presents The Mercy Step, a tender and sharp-witted portrait of a young girl navigating Black British family life and survival in 1960s Bradford. The ticket price includes a glass of wine or a soft drink.
