A 14-mile group walk through the Surrey hills, stopping at places with fine autumn colours, a hill topped by a folly, and finally Salamander's Hill to watch the sun go down. It is hosted by Christopher and run by the Meetup group FREE Outdoor Trips From London. The walk itself is free of charge; participants arrange their own train travel and pub expenses and are responsible for their own safety. Meet beforehand at Waterloo Station near the ticket office, bring a packed lunch, water and rainproof clothing; the walk ends at Guildford.
