Talks and readings
SAT Conference 2026
About
The SAT Conference 2026 is a day of talks on the Shakespeare Authorship Question, the debate over who wrote the works attributed to Shakespeare. It is presented by Sir Mark Rylance, with an introduction led by him and Dr. Ros Barber. The afternoon brings talks from different potential contributors to the Shakespeare works, including Peter Dawkins, Edward De Vere, Christopher Marlowe and Francis Bacon, plus the results of the SAT's inaugural essay competition. A free morning introduction to the authorship enquiry precedes the conference itself.
