£9 general admission / £7 concessions
About
An evening of four short films that explore what the organisers call 'impossible cinema', presented as the opening night of SET Film Festival 2026. The festival is an independent, grassroots event for contemporary, artist and archival film, founded in 2023, run by London-based arts organisation SET and curated by Amina Ali, Ellie Dobbs and Verity Monroe. The programme gathers works by Jani Peltonen, Maryam Tafakory, Basma Alsharif and Oleksiy Radynski in which borders, bureaucracy and censorship challenge conventions of filmic completion, reclaiming impossibility as a productive condition. The screening is preceded by an introduction by Phoebe Campion.
