Short films of trances and faith, with filmmaker Q&A.

Night #3 of SET Film Festival 2026, titled 'A Conjuring, A Summoning', is an evening of short films at SET Social in Peckham. It is run by London-based arts organisation SET, whose festival is curated by Amina Ali, Ellie Dobbs and Verity Monroe. The films use mysticism and iconography to explore grief, nostalgia and longing, probing encounters with the divine through talismans, trances and spells, and asking what it means to place faith in the unseen. The programme includes works by Juan Ignacio Slobayen, Timoteus Anggawan Kusno, Caitlin Hazell, Sadia Pineda Hameed, Rhiana Bonterre and Leonardo Martinelli, and is followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers hosted by Amina Ali.
