About

The Experimental Film Section is a screening of ten short films ranging from one to 22 minutes, part of Screamstation Fest at the Close-Up Film Centre. The festival is curated and organised by Zhel Vukicevic and Kerry Baldry, and this programme gathers works that approach cinema as a space for experimentation with image, sound, duration, movement and perception. It presents radical experiments in perception, structure and audiovisual language by filmmakers and artists pushing at the boundaries of the moving image, with films by AWAI and Eriko Muraki, Paulo Coqueiro, Anne Colvin, Simon Payne, Yuri Kuzin, Susan Kouguell, Marty St James, Rastko Novakovic, Rutger Wolfson and Glitschen.
