Socialism or Extinction: talk on climate action.

An open meeting discussing the climate crisis and what a movement to fight it needs to look like. It is run by the student group Socialist Worker at Imperial College Union. The discussion asks how to channel despair over heatwaves, floods and failing climate politics into action, and draws lessons from the global climate strike of 2019. It is interwoven with questions of racism, imperialism and the rise of the far right.
