London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, WC2A 2AE London, Covent Garden
About
A public panel discussion on the state of national climate transition planning in 2026, held in the week before COP31. It is hosted by the TPI Global Climate Transition Centre, an academic research centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and forms part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science 2026. Drawing on data from the ASCOR tool and the Centre's State of the Sovereign Transition 2026 report, panellists from investor and government perspectives will discuss sectoral transition planning and the financial instruments sovereigns use to raise transition finance. The chair is Professor Carmen Nuzzo of the TPI Centre, with speakers including Marjan Divjak of Slovenia's Ministry of Finance, Jana Harvey of RBC BlueBay, Maya Hennerkes of the EBRD and Setenay Hizliok of the TPI Centre.
