About

The Popinjay Cavalier is a play, an epic swashbuckling comedy set in 1830s Europe. It is the first work written for the stage by film-maker Quentin Tarantino, best known for Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, and stars Sacha Baron Cohen, known for Borat, Brüno and Ali G, in the title role, making his West End debut. A rambunctious comedy of deception and disguise, it pays tribute to grand stage and screen epics and to the British 'trouser-dropping' farce, packed with romance, wit and Tarantino's signature style.
