About

The Triumph of Death is a farce about the holy trinity of Art, Money and Death, a comedy awash with the blood of the innocent, featuring clowns, spooky puppets and musical numbers. It is created by Popsie Theatre. An activist group defaces a painting and calls on a museum to drop its dubious funders, but if you dig deep enough, they are all dubious. An aggressively people-pleasing Head of Development is pulled between a queer-adjacent nepo-baby artist and a conniving pharmaceutical heiress, until a brush with Death themself forces her to reconsider her ethical position.
