About

The Sutra in Three Sections is a video teaching from the archive of past teachings, watched together at Kagyu Samye Dzong London. It was given by Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche in the early 2000s, when the centre was still situated in Carlisle Lane, Lambeth. The sutra is divided into three sections: homage by prostration to the Thirty-five Buddhas, confession, and dedication, and also includes the four powers and the Seven-Branch Prayer. In the video, Thrangu Rinpoche explains the benefit and importance of this sutra, which is sometimes called the Confession to the 35 Buddhas.
