About

A monthly book circle exploring literature from across West Africa and its diaspora, meeting to discuss Chigozie Obioma's An Orchestra of Minorities chapter by chapter. The first session of the series covers the first incantation, Igbo spirituality, in particular spiritual courts, and the first chapter, discussing spiritual parallels and the before, in the middle and afterlife. It is run by the West African Literary Circle and designed as a relaxed, welcoming space for open discussion and community connection, open to readers of all backgrounds. Attendees can replenish themselves at the bar and cafe during and after the circle.
