Therapeutic Gardening is a gardening session in St Mary's Therapeutic Garden, a peaceful retreat in the churchyard open to all. The garden was established in 2017 by the Ladywell Unit and St Mary's Church to promote mental well-being through gardening, and is kept going entirely by volunteers. Sessions need no experience or tools — everything is provided, with something to do at any level of energy or ability, and anyone may come once to see how they get on.
