Dominic Ashworth: jazz guitar at Googlies.

An evening of live jazz at Googlies Jazz Supper Club, a Thursday night gig at its home at Botany Bay Cricket Club in Enfield. Guitarist Dominic Ashworth headlines, a musician whose 2026 has ranged from fronting the Latin band Picante with saxophonist Derek Nash to leading the trio Without Words with pianist Dorian Ford and bassist Alex Keen. He has long been the guitarist in Julian Stringle's Dream Band, where his arrangement of Rhapsody in Blue held a Whitstable audience rapt. Jazzwise once noted that his ease on the instrument can lead listeners to take him for granted; at Googlies, they never do.
