About
A Thursday night jazz gig at Googlies Jazz Supper Club featuring clarinettist Julian Stringle. Julian made his television debut with Acker Bilk at fourteen and was touring Europe with his own modern jazz quintet by seventeen. Twice named Best Clarinettist at the British Jazz Awards, his playing honours the swing of Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw, and his Dream Band takes the clarinet into Latin and jazz-funk territory. This time the front line is all his.
