About
Transnational Resistances is a two-day symposium at Tate Modern rooted in artistic practices of transnational resistance and solidarity. It is organised by Hyundai Tate Research Centre: Transnational in partnership with Hyundai Motor, in collaboration with IMMA (Irish Museum of Modern Art) and Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, and supported by the Irish and UK Governments. Artists and academics explore support networks, feminist methodologies, memory work, counter-archiving and embodied knowledge across communities resisting erasure. The Friday programme includes workshops, talks, a communal meal, an audiovisual intervention and a keynote in Starr Cinema and Clore Foyer.
