Truly Naked
Picturehouse
About
A screening of the film "Truly Naked". It follows an introverted teenager who has only ever experienced intimacy through the lens while working for his father's pornography business, and who must step out from behind the camera when a feisty classmate challenges him to embrace real connection. The Cambridge Film Festival, in which it runs, is presented by the Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity widening access to cinema and supporting emerging talent through film, education and community programmes.

Critics
6.4Good
Critics praise the debut's sensitive treatment of intimacy, striking imagery and strong performances from its young leads. They fault heavy-handed themes, missed dramatic potential, and a reliance on obvious contrasts rather than subtlety.
