About

An in-person interdisciplinary symposium on early years research, held as part of UCL's bicentennial celebrations. Organised by UCL's Institute of Education, it brings together academics, researchers, practitioners and doctoral researchers from fields including education, neuroscience, psychology and health to explore care, education, play and inclusive approaches to early learning. The programme features thematic sessions with short talks, a panel discussion and informal networking, covering themes such as play and pedagogy, children's wellbeing, digital childhoods and inequalities. It also aims to lay the foundations for a new UCL Global Early Years Research Hub.
