Under Wraps Inaugural Mayfair Group Exhibition

Under Wraps is the group exhibition that inaugurates Charles Burnand Gallery's new Mayfair home at 20 Bruton Place. Opening during London Design Festival, it brings together new and recent works by internationally acclaimed artists working across Art Furniture, Illuminated Sculpture, Collectable Design and Sculpture, including Niamh Barry, Peter Lane, Studio Furthermore, Kyeok Kim, Myungtaek Jung and Marc Fish. Selected works stay veiled beneath semi-translucent architectural sheeting and are revealed through a choreographed sequence of automated unveilings, exploring how a first encounter with a work shapes the relationship that follows. Materials span mirror-polished bronze, glazed ceramic stoneware, recycled aluminium, cast glass and precious metal leaf.
