About
Unlocked Signals: Vinyl UK Bass Session is a night exploring the evolution of UK bass music through breakbeat hardcore, jungle and drum & bass. Unlocked Signals is a platform focused on discovering emerging talent and creating spaces for new artists to be heard. This first session begins with breakbeat hardcore rather than earlier Jamaican styles, tracing the connections between UK rave culture and Jamaican sound system influence, with future editions planned around Lovers Rock, Reggae and Dancehall. The line-up includes Mangled Mingus playing 8:00–8:45.
