About
This is a free three-day half term programme of creative workshops called Upgrade Yourself x Grand Junction Half Term Programme. It is run in collaboration with Upgrade Yourself from Somerset House, led by film-maker Parwana Haydar, musician Felix Taylor and spoken-word specialist Nia Fekri. Participants experiment with visual story-telling and music composition, using everyday objects, iPads, Macbooks and green screens to make and edit their own short stop-motion film with an original soundtrack they compose. The programme includes a tour of the Somerset House Artist Studios, a screening of the film in a cinema, free food and drink and free exhibition tickets.
