About

Animation Club is an 8-week stop-motion animation project where young people create a short animated film from scratch, ending with a closed screening for friends and family. It is run by the Roundhouse, with guidance from award-winning filmmakers from the Rainbow Collective, and is designed for ages 11-14 with no prior experience required. Participants learn stop-motion techniques, special effects and green-screen filming, build characters and scripts, and record sound effects and voice-overs in a professional studio.
