Vespers is a 40-minute gathering of contemplative practice held at St Mary's Walthamstow on the first Wednesday of every month. Each gathering features a poem, a reflection, two pieces of choral or instrumental music, two periods of stillness and a closing blessing. Drawing on over a thousand years of Christian contemplative practice, it is for everyone, regardless of background or belief.
