VINYL BITCH: OPEN DECKS
Dalston Superstore, Kingsland High Street 117, E8 2PB London, Shacklewell
About
VINYL BITCH: OPEN DECKS is a vinyl turntablism night with femme and nonbinary DJs on the decks, billed with fierce beats, queer magic and an empowering environment. Through these open deck events the organizers seek to inspire, showcase and elevate the art of turntablism, which overwhelmingly favors cisgender men. Sign-up sets run early in the evening, followed by free-for-all sets where anyone can walk in and play, with vinyl provided and tutorials at the beginning of the event.
