Walthamstow Welcomes Cafe: Free Help With Confusing Paperwork
St Mary's Church, Leyton

About
Walthamstow Welcomes Cafe is a free drop-in cafe in a church hall where trained volunteers help people with confusing paperwork. It is run by St Mary's Church, whose welcome centre hosts it across the churchyard from the church. The volunteers are not an advice service, but they help people access the benefits, support or services they need, such as a blue badge application, a PIP form or Transport for London services. Everyone is welcome, including those simply looking for a warm drink and a chat.
