50 YEARS THROUGH THE FIVE BOROUGHS is a four-day celebration of the 50th anniversary of the New York City Marathon's 5-boro course, held in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal. It is presented by NYRR, whose guests are invited to reach 1,976,000 steps during the event to inspire people to get moving and complete their own marathon. Interactive experiences take visitors on a journey through the five boroughs along the marathon route, highlighting the history, culture, and spirit of each community. Visitors can also enjoy DJ music, a projected name wall, giveaways, and special guests including past marathon champions.
