A Christmas Carol: Dickens's Tony-winning musical.

A Christmas Carol is the Old Vic's five-time Tony Award-winning musical stage adaptation of Charles Dickens's classic story, running at the Perelman Performing Arts Center. Playwright Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) and director Matthew Warchus (Matilda The Musical), with co-director Thomas Caruso, offer an immersive interpretation with staging that wraps the audience around the action. On a bitter Christmas Eve, the miser Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by four ghosts and shown his lonely life across past, present, and future, learning whether he can still be saved. Brimming with music and cherished carols like "Joy to the World" and "Silent Night," the production runs about two hours with an intermission.
