About

It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play is a stage adaptation of Frank Capra's classic holiday movie, making its Broadway premiere at the Broadhurst Theater. Adapted by Joe Landry from the story by Philip Van Doren Stern and directed by Jerry Zaks, it is performed in the style of a 1940s radio play, with the cast taking on all the characters and even making the sound effects. Andrew Rannells, Megan Hilty, Tituss Burgess, Harry Hamlin, and Lisa Rinna star in the story of George Bailey, whose kind-hearted sacrifices push him to the edge until he realizes how he has touched the lives of everybody around him. The 80-minute show without intermission is suitable for ages 8 and up.
